Consider Obama's war on Fox. Conventional wisdom is that its stupid -- the President demeans himself by getting into a serious fight with any institution less respected than the Presidency, and then trying to ban Fox reporters from the press pool was just childish. But if Obama has concluded that the Mainstream Media that is supposed to be his reliable cherring section is in fact being IGNORED, and the independent voters of America are getting their news from Fox, talk radio and the conservative weblogs -- well then his attack on Fox makes sense. The sensible act of a desperate President watching his approval ratings evaporate. |
